I’m Jiaxiao Ji, an independent designer currently based in Denmark, working across digital illustration, photography, and poster design, with occasional explorations into 2D animation. My inspiration often comes from everyday observations and personal experiences. I’m drawn to the emotional and narrative potential of visual language, and I seek a delicate balance between form and meaning. Through my work, I hope to evoke resonance and imagination, offering a quiet yet compelling mode of expression.
My illustrations are continuous attempts to give form to fleeting thoughts. I enjoy using gentle lines and restrained colors to capture subtle emotions and fragments of everyday life.
Each piece may reflect a mood, a mental state, or simply a quiet moment. Every illustration is a way for me to converse with the world.

In 2024, I welcomed the most precious gift of my life — my baby. During that beautiful and transformative time, I devoted nearly all of my energy to family and motherhood. Somewhere along the way, I began to lose touch with the part of me that had always identified as a designer.
This project is a gentle reminder to myself — a way to return to the rhythm and awareness that design once brought into my life. Through the simple act of creating one poster each day, I began to reconnect with creativity, and slowly rebuild the bridge between myself and the world through visual expression.
These posters aren’t about perfection or grand concepts. They are quiet, honest moments — small steps toward rediscovering the joy and intention that first drew me to design.

As artificial intelligence continues to reshape the landscape of creativity, I’ve become increasingly drawn to the evolving boundaries of digital art — where tools are no longer passive, and creation becomes a dialogue between human intention and generative systems. I no longer see digital tools merely as instruments, but as a language — a way to rethink how I create in an age where perception and production are constantly being redefined by algorithms.
This ongoing project is an open-ended exploration of real-time visuals, data-driven motion, and the poetics of interaction. Each piece is an experiment — a way to probe the edges between control and chaos, intuition and automation. I’m not searching for a finished style, but for a shifting space where design, code, and emotion can meaningfully converge.
